about

Here is a little slice of Jingle Punx history from about 1997 or 98. This is a song from our very first "album." We made maybe 50 or so copies and gave them to friends and family. They most likely smiled, and threw it in the trash....so this album is very...uhm...."rare." This is the only song from that first album that we have not redone on a later album. I guess we still have time for that. But for now, here is a re-mixed version...

It was recorded to ADAT through a Neve at the now defunct Music Annex in Menlo Park by our guitarist Doug before he was in the band. How we got him to JOIN the band after working on this amazing album we will never know. D.K. played bass on this record and switched to guitar when Rico and Doug joined.

Well, for those two fans we have, I hope you enjoyed the brief history of the early Jingle Punx days.

lyrics

Jolly old Saint Nicholas,
Lean your ear this way!
Don't you tell a single soul
What I'm going to say:
Christmas Eve is coming soon;
Now, you dear old man
Whisper what you'll bring to me;
Tell me if you can.

When the clock is striking twelve,
When I'm fast asleep
Down the chimney, broad and black,
With your pack you'll creep
All the stockings you will find
Hanging in a row
Mine will be the shortest one,
You'll be sure to know
